What Really Happend to K.D.C.?

To many he was an infinite spirit.
To others he was just another punk rocker.
To me he was a hero,
Whose life was cut tragically short.

His body was perceived, April 8, 1994
Cold and lifeless in his Washington habitation.
The investigators pronounce without a fleeting impression,
"Suicide. Write it up, let's move 'em out."

The inquiry stopped there.
The final vedict?
Self-inflicted shotgun wound to the head.
But they are quite fallacious.

Who's the real cutthroat?
